“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
- Buckminster Fuller

The sharing economy is in transition — and evolving fast.

For now it is dominated by a few multi-billion-dollar corporations based in Silicon Valley. They are glorified middle-men, interjecting themselves unnecessarily into what should be truly peer-to-peer transactions.

Not for long. Soon the sharing economy will be shaped primarily by decentralized marketplaces owned and operated by the participants themselves.

Arcade City is the first and only such player able to operate at scale in the rideshare marketplace of today.

This is not theoretical. We are flesh and blood: riders and drivers, users and developers, enthusiasts and entrepreneurs actively building tomorrow's decentralized marketplace today.

We invite you to join us. Specifically we seek:

  • Driver-entrepreneurs willing to take a leading role in organizing their local Arcade City rideshare network (anywhere in the world)
  • Developers able to build tools to serve these driver-entrepreneurs — our stack is ReactNative, Phoenix/Elixir, and (increasingly) Ethereum
  • Strategic partners who want to help define the next evolution of the sharing economy

Email cityhall [at] and tell us how you can help. Or better yet, join and introduce yourself in our global community Facebook group Arcade City Square.

We are already achieving industry firsts in rideshare. But rideshare is only the first of many battles to come.

We need all hands on deck. Join us.

Stay tuned — and game on.

P.S. We'd love help finding or building tools to help move our network off of Facebook. Perhaps you have some ideas?
